Overview

A 40 room, 4 star boutique hotel of distinction situated in a rural location 6.8 miles from Canterbury in Kent England. Cave provides the perfect eclectic mix for a relaxing and memorable stay, with a variety of modern, luxurious accommodation, an indulgent pool area, incredible golf at Boughton & wood-smoked cuisine inspired from across the world.

It also comes with a penthouse private function rooms for weddings & functions and 2 golf courses.

Social Distancing Measures

Restrictions have been put in place throughout the Hotel to facilitate Social Distancing. Sanitising stations are located throughout hotel and guests are encouraged to use them. Face masks are mandatory in all public areas.

Rooms

The decor in the room is very modern and luxurious. Rooms are generously sized and all come with a balcony.

Food at the hotel

Cave comes with 2 restaurants, the Firepit & Lounge Bar plus the Cave Bar also serving the Korean Cowgirl dishes inside or outside decking area.

Firepit is a contemporary, fine dining, sharing-plate experience restaurant. and the decor inside is warm and cosy with a modern feel.

Due to reduced capacity because of social distancing measures tables for breakfast and dinner in the Firepit are being booked in advance.

Pool area

The Cave pool area is an inviting sanctuary, uniquely shaped warm water pool overlooking the panoramic golf course. There is a glass bridge over the pool which leads to the jacuzzi complete with its own fireplace.

There is also a gym, sauna & steam bath.

Golf Course

The golf course consists of an 18 hole Championship course, Par 3 academy course and driving range.

Things I like

• The location, it is set in the picturesque Kent countryside.
• Free onsite parking
• Very clean.
• Modern luxurious ccommodation & indulgent pool.
• Amazing stuff
• Extremely comfortable bed with feather duvet and pillows.
• Firepit restaurant decor is just unique and beautiful, plus the service in the restaurant is outstanding.
• All Covid protocols are reassuring.

Things I do not like

• On the balcony there are chairs but no table.
• No bedroom sleepers in room, had to ask for some, however we were given promptly.
