Overview

This innovative & stylish hotel is just 35 minutes from East Midlands Airport. Nestled within the heart of the National Forest, Hilton at St. George’s Park is located close to the M1, M6 & M42 motorway links. It offers 1st class sports, events & conference facilities. It also offers complimentary on-site parking. St George’s Park is home to all 28 English Football Teams, and is an inspirational centre for coach education.

I am sure some of the set up in the foyer has been changed to comply with social distancing measures.

It is an excellent base for short breaks & leisure stays. The hotel features beautifully appointed guest rooms.

Spa & Relaxation

The hotel has has a swimming pool, spa featuring 4 treatment rooms & plenty of relaxation treatments. thermal foot spa, ice fountain, steam room & sauna. Unfortunately due to the Covid Pandemic the amenities were closed.

Dinner was served in the Cross bar, not sure if its the norm or the social distancing regulations.

Games Room

Since I was travelling with my children & my grandson we welcomed the Games Room as there was not much to do with most facilities closed due to the pandemic.

Lovely Surroundings

The hotel is surrounded by tranquil natural scenery.

Things I like

• The hotel is doing its best to stick to social distancing protocols, sanitisers are everywhere.
• The staff is very welcoming
• The rooms are very spacious & clean
• Modern facilities.
• Breakfast is very good.
• Free onsite parking.
• It is close to M1, M6 & M42 motorway links.
• Hotel’s unique surroundings.

Things I do not like

• Food choice for dinner was a bit limited, might be due to covid I do not know.
